During the deportation his father was killed in the most terrible way. He himself was deported with his mother to Karadjia Dagh. A Kourd took him by force to his house. Hagop lived seven years there being considered as the child of the Kuord.
He was informed that his aunt was alive in Severek. He fled from the Kourdish family and went to search his aunt. He succeeded and found her and a few days later they both fled to Aleppo.
Hagop's aunt was too poor to support herself and him, so we took Hagop in our care.
Hagop was received in the orphanage of the Near East Relief.
