Sourens
father was a soldier in the Turkish army and was killed there, when he as a
little baby was deported with his mother.
His mother was taken away from
the caravan by a Kourd and had to marry him. Souren and his mother remained in
a village named Tchor-Keuy 4 years, there his mother became ill and died.
The poor little boy remained
alone and was often illtreated by the Kourds second wife.
An Armenian boy, who was
living in the same village one day fled with him, and the came to "Tel-Samen", where they
were received by our people and per auto send on to us in Aleppo.
