Mariam was deported with her husband and three children.
One child died in Killis, her husband in Aleppo, and one child on the road to
Deir-el-Zor. In the desert passed Deir-el-Zor the caravan was attacked by
Tchetchens. Her last child was killed before her eyes. She was carried away by
a Kurd to Sindjar. She could not get away from him, but recently he abducted a
Kurdish woman and was thrown into prison. Then she took the opportunity and
reached us over Hassitshe.
