Deported until Rakka, where his mother died and he remained the last of all his relatives he had left their city together.
He came to an Arab, with whom he stayed for a long time. During the British occupation the Arabs heard that Armenian boys were gathered, and they sent Choren off to the Armesey Arabs far away into the plains. Later he succeeded in reaching Harran and from there finally fled to Urfa. He came to Aleppo June 19.
His elder brother is said to have survived too and at present to be living in Beirut. His name is Apet.
We helped Choren in the beginning and he very soon became selfsupporting.
Left our care: July 1922. Selfsupporting.
