Nina was born in Leningrade January 19, 1901. Her father is an author. In the wartime, he and his family suffered very much.

In the year 1917 they fled to Toganrog where they stayed till 1920. Then Nina got very ill of typhus. She came on a steamer, that went to Lemnos. As she became well again, she came to Sevastopol, afterwards to Jalta.

After a while the Bolsheviks came and Ninafled to Konstantinople. There a Turk took her and she lived with him 2 years without marriage. When her little daughter was six months old, the Turk wanted to go to Aleppo.

Before his going the wedding took place. After two years he came and fetched Nina and her child, and she has lived in Aleppo till now.
