Nina was born in Leningrade
January 19, 1901. Her father is an author. In the wartime, he and his family
suffered very much.
In
the year 1917 they fled to Toganrog where they stayed till 1920. Then Nina got
very ill of typhus. She came on a steamer, that went to Lemnos. As she became
well again, she came to Sevastopol, afterwards to Jalta.
After
a while the Bolsheviks came and Ninafled to Konstantinople. There a Turk took
her and she lived with him 2 years without marriage. When her little daughter
was six months old, the Turk wanted to go to Aleppo.
Before his going the wedding
took place. After two years he came and fetched Nina and her child, and she has
lived in Aleppo till now.
