In
the beginning of the war Aristages’ father was put in prison, tortured and
after some days died under the hands of his torturers.
Aristages came on the road with his mother and
a sister. They came near Ras-el-Ain. There a Kurd wanted to take his sister
away with him. The poor mother struggled her child the Kurd killed her and
afterwards dragged Aristages’ sister with him to his house and forced her to
marry him. Aristages followed his sister, and the Kurd took him in and kept him
as a shepherd.
From
some muleteers he one day heard about our house in Aleppo. By the help of our
agents he one day reached here safely.
We found his father in Aleppo.
Aristages is living with him.
