Marta
never was deported. Till now she has stayed in a village near Van. It is quite
an exception that her husband who was the chief of the village was not killed.
During the war he became ill and died. Some times afterwards Marta married an
Armenian by name Mourad Zerdoian. Newly he was forced to embrace Islam. His
woman could not stand that and fled with her son Kirkor. Our agent from
Hassitshe found them in a village nearby. They were both very exhausted. He
brought them into his house and after a few days good nursing they were sent on
to us.
Left our care: June 8, 1927. Relatives. Sidon.
