His father was a soldier in the Turkish army when war was declared. He himself was deported with his mother, brother and sister to Ras-el-Ain. An Arab from Safiya took him to his house and used him five years as a shepherd. In the last years of war, food supply became very expensif in Turkey and so the Arab sent Varaztad away.
Varaztad went to another Kourdish village and worked four years in a family as farmer. Once he was told about our reception house in Aleppo, with the help of our agent he fled from the Kourdish village and came to Hassitshe.
Our agent sent him to Aleppo Station and we admitted him.
As far as know he has no relatives.
Left our care: July 7, 1925. Selfsupporting, Trade.
