PICTURE 9/5
The father of Bedros was put in prison at the beginning of the Armenian deportation. With the help of a Turkish friend he fled from the prison, and the Turk kept him and his family in his house. Bedros' father was afraid of the situation of his family and nation. Not long afterwards he became ill and died.
After his father's death Bedros was deported with the rest of his family. Being very young at that time he does not remember what happened to his relatives.
Bedros was a slave among the Arabs and rescued by the efforts of our agents. His little brother (see No: 523) was rescued with him.
His country-men took care of him.
Left our care: May 28, 1924. Relatives.
