After his father was killed in his native town, he was deported with his mother and sisters until Bilegh, where he lost the caravan. An Arab took him from there to Shagh-Haisa where he lived as a farmer. He was badly treated. He fled from the Arab and went to the Anaze's tribe and lived with them for a time.

Aram became very ill at once but nobody took care of him. There were a few Armenians working in the mill of this tribe. They took care of him and when recovered they sent him to Rakka. An Armenian doctor met him there and send him to Aleppo.

His mother's brother is in America.

Aram suffered severely from Malaria but finally recovered and learned a trade.

Left our care: August 1923. Selfsupporting, trade.
