Her mother died in the beginning of the war. Arshalous
came on the road with her father and three brothers. The caravan reached
Hammam. There a terrible massacre took place. Her father was killed and she
herself dragged away by an Arab and brought to his tent. Arshalous became his
slave twelve years. What became of her brothers she never knew. One day one of
our helpers came to that village where Arshalous was. He told her about our
rescue-home and immediately she left her three children and fled to us.
Left our care: June 18,
