His father was killed in the beginning of the deportation. After a short time the village was attacked by the Turks and most of the people were killed. Mikael was wounded. A Kourd took him to his house and took care of him.
When he recovered he lived five years with the Kourd. Mikael was doing the work of a farmer. His work was too hard for him and he could not endure it, he intended to flee. One day he had the opportunity and he fled to Albatya. He remained there until Armenians were allowed to leave Turkey. By a chance he fled to Adiaman. There he became the helper of a Turkish muleteer. In a few days they started and came to Aleppo.
Mikael left the muleteer alone and came to us.
His brother is in America.
Did not behave well.
He finally found his relatives and is now living with them.
Left our care: January 31, 1923. Relatives.
