Annig's parents died on the road. Her brother was killed.
Finally, the little girl was received in an orphanage. Later she fell in the
hands of the Turks, until a young Armenian saved and married her. He was
however persecuted and had to leave Turkey. We received him, No. 1469, and
helped him to find work here.
Afterwards we tried hard to bring his wife out
and finally succeeded. They are now living here in Aleppo, working their own
way.
Left our care: April 30,
1928.
