Serops father was a soldier in
the Turkish army and was killed. Serop was exiled with his mother. They reached
Mardin, where a Turk took his mother away by force.
The caravan went further on.
On the road Serop was dragged away by an Arab, where he stayed 8 years.
Once the tribe came near
Deir-el-Zor.
He fled in the city and came
in the house of a Turk. 3 years he lived there, was then found by our agent and
sent per motor-car to our rescue-home in Aleppo.
Left our care November 20, 1925.
Relatives.
