Yeghsa is born in a village
near Kharpoot. She came on the road with her parents, 2 brothers and one
sister.
The caravan came near Mardin
there the parents were killed and Yeghsa was dragged away by an Arab and
brought to his tent.
2 years after she was sold to
an Arab and married with him.
One day she fled to Mardin
where she went the American orphanage. From there she was sent on to us.

Yeghsa
has come back several times, because she was sick. Finally however she
recovered the necessary strength and is now living with relatives supporting
herself by embroidery.
