His father was a soldier in the Turkish army when Hampartzoon was deported with his mother and 3 sisters to Der-el-Zor. All became ill and died there. He was recovered and came to an Arab house and lived seven years there being his master's shepherd.
His master's son was growing up. For this reason they did not want to keep him any longer on their charge. Hampartzoon could not find work there and came to Aleppo on April 21.
His father is supposed to be found in Damascus.
Hampartzoon went to live with his father in Damascus.
