In
the beginning of the deportation his family was living in Mardin and they were
deported from there. At a little distance of the town all were killed except
Armenag, who was taken by a Kurd and was brought to his house in Derik. There
he had to work eleven years as a farmer. When he grew up, he heard about our
rescue-home and about many Armenians in Aleppo. Hoping that he could find any
of his relatives here, he started for Aleppo and after some days walk he
reached Hassitshe, from where by our agent he was sent to us.
Left
our care: November 22, 1926. Joined his relatives in Aleppo.
