            Her father died before the war. During the deportation her mother became Moslem and married a Turk and Martha lived with them. After several months her mother became ill and died. The Turk did not keep Martha after her mother's death and so she was sent away.

            Martha went to another Turk's house and lived there until they wanted to marry her to a member of the family. Martha fled to an Armenian family who sent her to Aleppo. Being unable to support herself she came to us.

 

 

Found a place as a servant and left.
