Melek is a Syrian girl. Her
father and a brother went to America some years before the war. Her mother
died, and an Armenian family brought the child to her home.
In the time of the deportation
she was deported with the family.
On the road she was dragged
away by an Arab. She stayed in his tent 2 months she then fled in another tent.
When she grew up she was married to an Arab and lived with him some years. She
then fled and reached Tel Abiat. There our helper sent her on to our
rescue-home in Aleppo.
