Her father was a soldier in the Turkish army when her mother was deported. Her mother gave her to a known Turk in order to safe her life. Oghda remained seven years in the Turkish family acting as a maid-servant. She could never got any news from her relatives.
When she heard about the Armenian emigration to Syria, she fled at night to an Armenian family. She sold all her clothes to make some money for her journey. A group of Armenian was going to Aleppo, she followed them and reached safely this city.
As far as we know she has no relatives.
Learned embroidery and became selfsupporting. In the meantime her relatives were found here in Aleppo, she is now living with them.

Later she took a place as a servant here in Aleppo.
