Baydsar's husband had to
flee during the deportation. Somehow he managed to reach France. She had one
letter from him. Later she heard nothing. A Turk had taken possession of A., so
her daughter was safe. But as the girl grew up, the same fate awaited her. So
Baydsar fled and reached us over Mardin. She came with two children.
