During the deportation his father was killed. He was given by his mother to the chief Turk of the town. His mother was exiled and he never knew what happened to her. Mouofar lived for 7 years in that house. When the Turk died he met some Armenians in the market, who were leaving for Aleppo. He asked them if there were orphanages in Aleppo, they said yes. At once Monofar was decided to follow them, they accepted and so he came to us.

            Mouofar has no relatives.

Monofar was not a boy fit for the life in an orphanage so we sent him away.
