Hagop
was 12 years old when he was deported with his parents. The caravan reached
Deir-el-Zor. After a while they were sent on. On the road they were attacked by
Arabs, who killed the most of the people, among those were also Hagop's
parents.
He himself was taken away by
an Arab and brought to a village Abdul Aziza where he stayed 10 years. He was
always longing to be among Christians and to learn a trade so one day he fled
with two other Armenians Yeghia No: 748 and Gudji No: 749.
They all reached safely here.
Hagop
married Gurdji No: 749 and left our house. He is living in Aleppo.
