Her father went to America and died there before the deportation started.
Siranoosh was deported with her mother to Diarbekir. There she was separated from her mother and taken by force to a Turkish house where she lived seven years as a maid-servant.
When Armenians were emigrating to Aleppo she desired to go too, but she did not find the opportunity. A young Armenian helped her in fleeing and protected her until she could get a "Passport" for her and later he sent her with a caravan to Aleppo.
Her mother's brothers are in America.
Learned embroidery and became selfsupporting.
