Martha was deported with her parents and two brothers in
the direction of Sivas. The caravan reached Daranda. There a Turk took the
whole family in his house. The father soon died. The mother was married to a
Turk. After ten months Martha and her brothers went back to their native
country Mesjavka. When Martha grew up a Turk wanted to marry her. Then she fled
with some muleteers and reached Aleppo.
