Antranig was deported with his parents, 3 sister and a brother. On the road the men were separated from the women and children and killed. So Antranig lost his father.
The family continued the road until Souroudj, where a Kourd took Antranig away from his mother and brought him to his tent. After this he does not know what became of his family.
Antranig served the Kourd as a shepherd but was illtreated by him, so he fled and tried to return to his homeland, but did not come further as to Mesreh, where he had to enter the service of another Kourd.
With this man he stayed 8 years not seeing the way to return to his nation until an Armenian doctor from Djiraboulous found him and told him about the Armenians in Aleppo and about our home.
Shortly afterwards A(ntranig) made up his mind to flee and came to our station at the Syrian frontier from where he was sent on to us.
