His father was killed, and
Levon was exiled with his mother to Diarbekir. Levon's mother was killed there,
and he himself taken to a Kourdish family, where he lived 11 years as a farmer.
Some muleteers were passing
the towns, they knew that Levon was an Armenian. They told him that many
Armenians were alive in Aleppo, and that they would take him with them, if he
could flee.
Levon immediately agreed and
joined them. An Armenian girl Serpouhi also fled with him and after reaching
our house Levon married her.
Found
his mother in Aleppo and went with his wife Serpuhi No: 808 to live with
her.
