Levon was deported with his mother and younger brother to Pera where a Turk took him to his house. His mother and brother were sent further on and he never became news of them. Levon lived 3 years with that Turk but as he was ill-treated he fled from there to Pashaghag where he went to a Kurdish family being their servant.
When Armenians were allowed to travel he went to Harpoot, joined a caravan there and came to this city.
Levon has his father in America. We received him in our reception-house and he remains here until he can get news from his father.
Levon came into connection with his relatives in America, who sent him money, so that he could live on his own account.
