Her husband was a soldier in the Turkish Army and was killed.
Kaiane was deported with her two brothers. Those disappeared on the road. The caravan passed Aleppo, then Beylon, where a Turkish officer took Kaiane in his house as a servant.
This officer moved with is family to Kilis. In the neighbouring house there was an Armenian servant, he wanted to mary Kaiane, and her possessor gave the permission. She got 2 children.
Newly her husband died, and fearing to fall in the hands of the Turks she fled with her 2 children and reached Azeze. There one of our helpers found her, paid her expenses and sent her per motorcar to our rescue – home in Aleppo.
Left our care: 23/3 27. Selfsupporting.
