Setrag was deported with his family to Agh Poonar where the whole family was attacked by Kourds. His father was killed in this town, his mother was lost. He himself escaped from this horror and fled to Paloo. There he went to a Turkish house. The Turk was a muleteer, he took Setrag in and made an assistant of him.
Setrag worked seven years with his master. He fled several times but he was caught by his master. One day he came in company with his master to Jirablous. He saw French soldiers there and decided to flee. He went to the Railway Station master who was an Armenian, the latter protected Setrag and sent him to Aleppo.
His uncle is in America.
