Armen's father was killed by the Turks. He was deported with his mother and two sisters. In the Khabur-Region a Shammar-Beduin took Aram to his tent. Later the tribe wandered off to the environs of Mossul. Armen stayed eight years with the Arab and became a good shepherd. Then the Arab died and another Arab from the tribe took Aram as his slave. Later he fled to Mossul and from there was sent to us. 

We have found his uncle in Beirut.
