Melkon does not remember the name of his father. 

                  The poor boy has suffered very much. In the time of deportation, he was dragged away by an Arab, who lived near Deir-el-Zor. 

                  Melkon was illtreated and fled from one village to another. 

                  One day he came to Hassitshe, where our agent found him and sent him on to us.
