During the deportation time
Parsegh's mother was exiled to Ras-el-Ain. Till the English occupation she had
been among the Arabs then she had returned to her native country and was
married to an Armenian. During the last emigration her husband left Turkey.
Near the Turkish-Syrian frontier they were exposed to the attack of some
robbers, who killed her husband and after robbing all of her properties they
had permitted her to go away with her child almost naked. With the help of some
Armenians she was sent to us.
