His father died before the war. He himself was deported with his mother, brother, and sister to a town named Arabkir. His mother became ill and died there. Khatshadoor, his brother and sister were sent to Harpoot. Arriving there he was separated from them and taken by a Turk to his farm where he lived six years as a farmer. As he was ill treated most of the time, he fled to Mezreh there he tried to work and support himself. Unfortunately he could not succeed and so he went to a village named Miadoon. There he worked one year as a farmer with a Kourd.
When the Armenian emigration started, he fled to a Christian family, hid himself for several days and then fled with a caravan of emigrants to Aleppo.
As far as we know he has no relatives.
Learned a trade and became selfsupporting.
