Mary's father died before the war. She was deported with her mother to Der-el-Zor where her mother was killed. Mary was taken by force to an Arab where she lived for 3 years. When the life was getting more and more expensive the Arab gave her to a Tshatshan. For a long time she was the servant of her new master and later they married her. Mary did not want to stay there in these conditions and she fled to Hashine where she found Armenians who protected her for a few days and then they sent her to Aleppo.
Mary learned embroidery and became selfsupporting.
Later she was married to an Armenian here in Aleppo.
