He was deported with his family until Souroudj where he lost them. He was taken into a Kurdish house and he remained there for 7 years. Davlet was acting as a shepherd all these years.

            Some day a few Armenian businessmen were passing in his village. They recognized him and took him to Garmoudji, where he remained until July 26. From there he came to Rakka and was sent by our organization to Aleppo.

            His mother is supposed to be in Bagdad.

Davlet entered the Near East Relief Orphanage.
