Lootfi and his sister Mariam were brought to us by a Syrian tailor who was working in Sabit. The man claimed to be a friend of the deceased father of the children and wanted to place both in some orphanage in Aleppo.

                  According to his conversation we could understand that both of the children were taken to a Mohammedan family in Sabit.

                  The mother of the children was dead, the father perished in a storm and so both became orphans. The Mohammedan family was living in the same house and so they took the children. However, we took to our house and are trying to locate their relatives in Turkey. We have been informed that their uncle is living in Constantinople.
