His father was a soldier in the Turkish army when he was deported with his mother until Guenk-Tepe where Jesav was badly wounded. His mother left him alone thinking that her son was dead. A woman from the Arab tribe found Jesav. She could not endure that pity and she took him to her house. She took good care of him and within a few months Jesav was healed. He remained for 7 years with that Arab family and worked for them as a farmer.
One day he heard about orphanages, he fled to Rakka and came from there to Aleppo.
His younger brother and sister are in the American orphanage.
Jesav learned a trade, became selfsupporting and entered our camp.
Left our care: February. 28, 1923. Selfsupporting, trade.
