Armenouhi does not remember much
about her past history. She was living in an Arab house in Aleppo, serving as a
maid-servant. An Armenian woman, who was selling combs, visited the house many
times and seeing Armenouhi there persuaded her secretly and succeeded in
bringing her to us. The woman told us her parent's name because she recognized
them.
