His father was killed by a Turk in the general massacre
before the war. Shortly after his mother was exiled with two boys, one girl and
all her country people to the region of Mardin. One day, an Arab named Hussein
dragged him away from his mother and brought him to Diarbekir. He never knew
what became of his relatives. Khatsho became a little shepherd and nobody took
care of him. Newly our agent from Hassitshe found him and some days after he
arrived in our reception-home in Aleppo.
Left our care: September 22,
1927. Selfsupporting.
