Her husband was a soldier in the Turkish army when she was deported with her three children and mother. When the caravan of deportation reached Severek she was obliged to leave one of her childs on the road, being unable to carry it.

Coming to a town named Djezire six hours from Severek she had to leave her second child on the road being exhausted from the fatigue of carrying her child. In that moment a Kourd came and took her to the village. He wanted to marry her but she fled to the government asking for protection. An official of the village took her to his house. Her disappointment was big when she saw that this one had the same intention. In fact she was married to him. After a few days he took her last child from her and threw into a river.

Her destiny was cruel she had to live with the murderer of her child. During seven months she was kept like a prisoner in the official's house. Later the Turk went on business to Mardin. During his absence she fled from this village and went to Gavoor.

There she found a place as a servant in the house of a rich Turk. She worked six years there. About two years ago she received news from her husband who was in Aleppo. She fled at once hoping to pass the frontier but she was arrested by Turkish soldiers and sent back to Mardin. There she became the servant of the director of agriculture and remained two years there, after the Armenian priest helped her financially and she succeeded to go to Hassitshe. Our agent met her there and sent her later to us.
