Anna was deported with her family until Toghris where all were killed excepting herself. She fled with another girl to the mountains and lived there for 10 days suffering horribly. An Arab found her there and took her to his tent. He supported her one year and sold her afterwards for two kilo wheat to another Arab who wanted to marry her. Anna knew that and fled at nighttime to another village.
There she met again the same difficulties. She could not flee any longer because it was dangerous. The Arab married her by force and she lived with him until she found the opportunity to flee to Urfa from where she was sent to Aleppo.

Anna's relatives sent her money, and she is living on her own account.
