The whole family was allowed to remain in their town because they were a soldier's family. Kevork's father was a soldier in the Turkish army for good many years.

When the Greek army occupied Sivri-Hissar the whole family was deported to Angora where Kevork was separated and exiled with another caravan to Harpoot. A Turk engaged him as a servant. After one year Kevork could not endure his work which was too heavy for him. He fled at night time from the Turk's house. After a long time of travelling only at night he reached Aleppo. Unfortunately he could not locate any relatives, and having no money he was obliged to enter in service for an Arab at Djidad.

Kevork was working as a farmer, when one day several Armenian merchants were passing this little town. He found an opportunity and talked with these Armenians and he conferred them that he was an Armenian too. These merchants knew about organizations and orphanages founded for orphans and detained woman and children, they told him about and advised him to flee to Aleppo, where he would surely be received.

Kevork fled the same night and after a long and perilous journey he came to us.

As far as we know he has no relatives.

Went to Greece.
