Megerditch is the brother of No. 1252. His father died in
the beginning of the war. He himself was deported with his mother, a brother
and four sisters in the direction of Biredjik, Diarbekir and Mardin. One of his
sisters died on the road and another the gendarms sold to a Kurd. As the
caravan arrived to Nisibin a Kurd dragged him away with him to his village.
After twelve years of slavery he one day understood from our agent that his
brother was alive and had found a place of refuge - our rescue-home- in Aleppo.
Of course Megerditch immediately fled and reached our home safely. The meeting
of the two brothers was touching.
We found his sister is Beirut and sent him
there.
Megerditch is the brother of Hovhannes No. 1252 who also is living in
Beirut.
Left our care: July 15,
1927. Relatives.
