Deported until Urfa, where he lived with a Turk, Hadji Chalil. During the British occupation the Armenians once get hold of him, but he escaped and ran back to the Turk, crying furiously, that he were a Turk.
Now he has become big enough to understand that he is an Armenian, and he ran the risk of fleeing and endured the hardship of the road to get back to his own people.
Kirkor's father is living in America, and we succeeded in placing him in the orphanage until the father could sent for him.
We paid half his fare from Urfa.
Krikor was in our care from April 8th to the end of the month.
