            Her husband was killed in the beginning of the war. She was deported with her children. About two hours away from the city she lost all of them. A Turk forced her to come with him to his village. A few days afterwards he married her. She lived seven years with the Turk, by and by she succeeded and found all her children who were dispersed in different Turkish houses.

            Zaghig was intended to flee but she could not find the opportunity. One day she went to Mardin. There she remembered the Armenian church. After a short conversation with the priest she decided to flee. She took her children and went to the Catholic church. She was protected and later sent to us.
