Bedros was deported with his parents, two brothers and three sisters. His father was unable to go further, so he was left on the road, doubtless died. His elder brother got crazy during an attack by the Kurds and after a few days he died too. On reaching Biredjik, Bedros gave some piastres to a gendarm, who permitted the whole family to remain there, while the others were sent forward. After a few days rest, they went to Nizib where his three sisters were taken by the Turks. The two brothers lived there with a Turkish baker, who gave them equally bread and blows. Profiting by the last affairs of the Kurdish rebellion, he succeeded to escape with his brother and reach Aleppo. We are trying now to save his mother and sisters.
