In the beginning of the deportations his father fled to Russia. In the meantime Kourds were attacking the village, most of the Armenians were killed and only a few succeeded in fleeing to Russia.
Yeghiazar was taken to a Kourdish village named Arlosig. He lived about three months there. When the Russian army was occupying this region he was deported with his master. After a few months he went back to his native town and lived there with a Turk being the servant of the latter. In November 1922 he fled to Harpoot, he joined a caravan of Greek refugees there and came together to Aleppo.
Yeghiazar went to join his countrymen in Damaskus.
Work is more easily found there.
Is now living in Beirut and doing very well for himself.
Left our care: June 1, 1923. Selfsupporting.
