            His parents died in Der-el-Zor the city where all the family was deported to.

            Manoog was taken by an Arab to Khaboor. He lived one year with him but he was ill-treated and fled to the Aneze's tribe where he lived 6 years as a shepherd. After that he fled to Der-el-Zor with the intention to become a soldier. Arriving to Der-el-Zor he met an Armenian who told him that there are orphanages in Aleppo and he advised him to go there. He agreed and came to us in January.

 

 

As far as we know he has no relatives.

            Afterwards he found his relatives and is now living with them.
