Her mother died when she was a child of six years. She was deported with her grandmother to Agin. There her grandmother died. After two years Aghavni was married to a Turk. She lived four years with him and fled later to the American orphanage.
When Armenians were allowed to emigrate she came with a caravan to Aleppo.
Being unable to support herself she came to us.
Aghavni's father is in Bulgaria and her brother in Rumania.
